Any study of a phenomenon (in this case compassion) begins with a set of assumptions that shape how the study is oriented, or how one is looking at the definition and meaning of compassion.
The introduction contains a brief outline of the seven myths.

A story of linked parables designed to stimulate thinking about compassion while also remaining open to individual meaning making processes and a diverse range of interpretations - excellent for small group exploration of one's definition of compassion.
