This site is a companion site for www.SacredHealingNow.com.  This site offers the user access to introductory information on empathy and compassion.  The SacredHealingNow site offers more advanced information.  There are links to cross between sites on the home page of both sites. Mission Statement:  The purpose of this site is to make available to the public a central internet portal for information on empathy and compassion, presenting a wide range of views. Build a world wide compassion database  in an effort to expand our knowledge, discourse and teaching effectiveness about compassion and move us toward a culture of compassion.

Goals: First, and foremost, to promote an increased understanding of compassion and empathy.
            Second, to expand the public discourse regarding our understanding of compassion.
            Third, to provide a place for people to add downloadable information and links to information.
            Fourth, to offer ideas on what the development of compassion might be.
            Fifth, make suggestions on moving toward a culture of compassion.
