The Helping Relationship "Tree" and links to Compassion Information
© 2011 - Compassion Information Institute. All rights reserved. Compassion is frequently about helping people. An important part of this helping process is the helping relationship. We can develop strong compassion through expanding our knowledge of the helping relationship and its connections to the compassion space.
Below is the "Helping Relationship Tree". It is a tree of ideas that are described in a series of papers and books. It is suggested that you start at the base of the tree and read the ideas their first, then branch upward and outward. Links are provided to the web pages that contain the reading materials. The materials presented here are based on more than three decades of research and practice.
