This site is both a space for compassion information and a place to learn about the compassion space. This site offers the user access to introductory information on empathy and the compassion space.  The SacredHealingNow.com site offers more advanced information.  There are links to cross between sites on the home page of both sites. The relationships between all the major compassion concepts is illustrated in the "Helping Relationship Tree" diagram - click here below.

Mission Statement:  The purpose of this site is to make available to the public a central internet portal for information on empathy and compassion, presenting a wide range of views. Build a world wide compassion database  in an effort to expand our knowledge, discourse and teaching effectiveness about compassion and move us toward a culture of compassion.

Goals: First, and foremost, to promote an increased understanding of compassion and empathy.
            Second, to expand the public discourse regarding our understanding of compassion.
            Third, to provide a place for people to add downloadable information and links to information.
            Fourth, to offer ideas on what the development of compassion might be and how to teach it.
            Fifth, make suggestions on moving toward a culture of compassion.
