This site contains an abundance of information to help you with compassion definition, compassion understanding and your sitting within the compassion space.

Some ideas on papers that could be added to this site:
                 - Your ideas on what compassion means to you.
                 - Religion and what it says about compassion.
                 - Describe an important compassionate encounter.
                 - Give respect to a compassionate person.
                 - Describe a compassionate program or service.

Third :  Every day is an opportunity for compassion. Almost everyone has talents that can be used to help reduce sufferring.  Do what you can do using what you do best to help one other person.   Never act in any way which would promote sufferring.
Seventh : We know that there are people out there who would like to help increase compassion in the world but who are very busy.  They may wish to make a monetary contribution.  Such a contribution is made to a non-profit institute (501 (c) 3) aimed helping the compassionate mind "awaken" in all of us.  The institute is called "The Mind Awakening Institute".  It has been functioning for more than a decade without a request for public support.  It is only now (September 2009) that a request is made.  The reason is that is is made now is that 1) there is an abundance of information that needs to be presented to the public through publishing and other media, and 2) progress has been made on the development of a virtual world simulation (www.aclashofcultures.com ) to help teach compassion.  To continue development on these efforts funding is needed. if you have any questions please send an email.
In order for you to have documentation for your own tax records you can send a check to the following address:
                      The Mind Awakening Institute
